Provider frequently asked questions
These answers explain how provider profiles work during Care4AU’s early access period. We are building an Australian directory for disability, aged care, allied health and home support. The directory is growing, so it does not yet include every provider or location.
How do I ask to add or update a profile?
Use the provider application form to request a new profile or send corrections. Include your established business website and public business contact details if available, plus the service types and areas you cover. Care4AU replies by email. You do not need to provide a phone number to Care4AU, though you may choose to display your business phone on your public profile.
Can I claim an existing listing?
Yes. Use the claim or correction page and identify the profile and your connection to the organisation. Care4AU may ask for information to confirm authority to manage it. A claim allows a representative to request profile changes; it is not a regulator check, endorsement or guarantee of service quality.
Is there a fee to submit a profile?
During early access, submitting a basic profile request or asking for a correction is free. Paid subscriptions are not currently open for purchase. Any future price, feature, billing term and cancellation process will be published before a paid plan is offered. No payment is taken through the current forms.
Which contact details can appear publicly?
Providers may choose to include their established business website, public business email and business phone number. Care4AU’s own contact route is the website form, and we respond by email. Do not submit a private personal phone number or an email address that should not be public.
What information should my profile include?
Keep details accurate and useful: legal or trading name, services, areas served, eligibility or registration information where relevant, funding arrangements accepted, accessibility and communication options, business contact details and a provider-controlled website. Explain availability and fees accurately, and update the profile when they change.
Does a profile prove registration or quality?
No. A listing is not an endorsement or a substitute for checking official records, credentials, service agreements, costs and suitability. Where registration matters, check the current official register and the provider’s scope. Ask the provider about worker screening, insurance, complaints and service continuity.
How do participant enquiries work?
Participants and coordinators can send a request at no cost. Care4AU uses the email address to reply and asks before sharing the request with a provider. An enquiry does not guarantee that a provider will respond, has capacity or is a suitable match.
