Provider response standards
Care4AU aims to handle participant requests clearly, respectfully and with consent. These standards explain what users can expect from Care4AU and what we cannot guarantee. We are an independent directory and introduction service, not a provider, regulator, emergency service or government funding decision-maker.
For participants, families and coordinators
Submitting a support request is free. We ask for an email address so we can respond; no phone number is required for Care4AU to contact you. We review the information submitted and may email a question if something is unclear. We ask before sharing request details with a provider. You can decide whether to proceed, ask us to correct information or withdraw a request where possible.
Please share only information needed to begin an enquiry. Do not enter NDIS or Medicare numbers, bank details, passwords, full plan documents or detailed health records in the form. A family member or coordinator should have the participant’s permission before submitting or sharing their information.
For providers
Provider profile requests and correction requests are free during early access. We review requests for basic completeness and may contact the provider by email for clarification. A submission is not automatically published. Care4AU may request a provider-controlled website or public business source to help confirm details. Paid subscriptions are not currently open for purchase.
What we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee a response time from an external provider, a match, service availability, eligibility, funding, quality, registration status or an outcome. Provider details may change. Check critical information directly with the provider and use official registers or government services when relevant. A claimed profile does not mean Care4AU endorses or audits the organisation.
Updates, corrections and concerns
If a profile appears inaccurate, use the claim or correction page or report a concern. We review reports and update or remove information when appropriate. Care4AU is not a substitute for emergency help or a formal complaint to a regulator. If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.
Read our verification approach, privacy information or contact us through the Care4AU form. For current NDIS provider-choice information, see the NDIS website.
