Care4AU frequently asked questions

What is Care4AU?

Care4AU is an independent Australian directory for disability, aged care, allied health and home support providers. It helps people explore services and begin an enquiry. The directory is growing and does not include every provider or location.

Is Care4AU free for participants?

Yes. Participants, family members and coordinators can submit a support request for free. A request does not commit anyone to a provider or guarantee a response or match.

How can I ask for support?

Complete the support request form with the service type, location and timing. Use everyday words and share only information needed to start an enquiry. Care4AU uses email to reply, so a correct email address is needed. The form does not require a phone number.

Will Care4AU share my request?

We ask before sharing request details with a provider. If you are making a request for someone else, get their permission and agree what information may be shared. Do not submit NDIS or Medicare numbers, bank details, passwords, complete plan documents or detailed health records in the form.

Does Care4AU recommend or verify providers?

No. A directory profile is not an endorsement, quality rating, funding approval or guarantee of availability. Profile labels explain whether a provider has claimed a listing or whether Care4AU checked a public source. Check registration, scope, costs, qualifications, service agreements and availability directly where relevant.

Can I list my business?

Yes. Use the provider application form to request a profile or correction. During early access, basic profile requests are free and paid subscriptions are not open for purchase. Providers may choose to include public business phone and email details on their listing. Care4AU replies to provider enquiries by email.

How do I report incorrect information?

Use the report a concern page or the contact form and include the profile link and a reliable source for the correction. Do not send private participant information.

Is Care4AU an emergency service?

No. If someone is in immediate danger, call 000. For urgent health concerns, contact a health professional or relevant emergency service.
